Hmmm... This is like a repeat of page 1. Are you implying Nickster amnesia?

This year, JS should win the Rising Star Award, and SS should win the Copeland again.

Rising star would be a pretty close contest about now.

Doodee and Raynor are his competition.
If Cerra ( Dockers ) continues to play like he did on the weekend, he will steam roll the field.
Stephenson’s probably the best of that crop but I wouldn’t put the farm on him just yet.

Rob bo and Roos are trumping up Florent from Swans. Would be typical if swans won their 4th rising star while us chumps have won a big fat zero! I hope I'm wrong because Stevo has been terrific and deserves to win it

Yes. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Stevo is this year's best debutant by some considerable margin.

I am equally confident that you are the single worst bot on the internet. I don't know why you aren't banned.

I'm reasonably confident Stevo will be happy missing out when he's holding his premiership medal aloft...

Screw the rising star, what about All Australian? Very Happy

Has a 1st year player ever achieved that?

Don't think so but Phil Walsh was 3rd in the copeland in his first season and won the club and league best first year player.

Anyway, the thing I really like about Stephenson, apart from his X factor ability, is his work ethic and scope for improvement.

The kid is already damn good, but put 10kg on him over a few pre seasons while keeping that pace and leap and you've damn near got a (slightly short) leading FF who could kick 60+ goals per year as well as taking a turn in the midfield if required. He doesn't come across as cocky or big headed at all (hope he stays that way) and really chases and tackles despite being built like a pipe cleaner.

Really good kid.
