His agent will always push for more money but I too believe his decision is not based on $$$$.
Can the team he wants to join win a flag in the next 5 years and which team would he most want to win a flag with.
Hmmmm.... 🤔 |

It's us or Richmond, but the fact that it's Michael Gleeson of the Age, who's a Collingwood supporter, who has just released the story, suggests to me that Lynch has decided to join Collingwood. |

It's as simple as this... if we really want him, we'll get him - end of story. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

The more leaders on the ground the better, just ask Hawthorn.
If we can somehow fit May into this equation as well then we are really in contention for the next 5 years.
Time to move on some of the dead wood (i.e. Fasolo, Broomhead, Wells, Mayne, Greenwood, Varcoe and Goldsack) and focus on building for the next flag. |
The Suns don’t seem to think him much of a leader. They just sacked him as captain. _________________ All We Can Be |

As I tipped everyone off too on Sunday just gone he would tell the Suns this week but not nominate a club
Take it as written Cochrane is really angling for fight on this front and may just force Lynch to the draft to make a point to other Suns players in the future
With Cochrane your not dealing with a guy who's background is AFL. He's a risk taker and likes to be front and centre when the heat is on
Sending him to the draft is dumb for the Suns but from there perspective to keep losing players has to stop at some stage.
Cochrane has planted a stake in the ground here and I get the feeling listening to him on radio he might be silly enough to walk away from pick 3 (there current compo pick in a supposed super draft) to make a statement
Hopefully someone with a brain up there has the ability to talk sense to Cochrane and understand that he's leaving one way or another and they might as well get the best deal they can because if he goes to the draft they get nothing for the investment they've already made in him |

Would be a silly business decision to send him to the draft and miss out on pick 3 and put a possible priority pick at risk by p155ing the AFL off. If Cochrane did try that, I’d bet the board rolled him on that decision at the 11th hour.
They will b1tch and moan, but ultimately take pick 3 and talk up the draft talent.
Evans is ex-AFL and not stupid. He will be the main decision maker, not Evans.
EDIT: For clarification, the not being stupid was independent of being ex-AFL. _________________ All We Can Be |

There is no way in the world the Suns will pass up a Pick 3 compo! There be a lot of blustering and chest puffing but in the end, the Suns will just NOT pass it up.
Now the circus really begins!! And i'm also betting that in 4 weeks time post regular season, Mr May will inform the club likewise!
IMHO we could do with May before Lynch - but that's just my observation! _________________ The new Magpie Dynasty is just a season away!! |

It would not surprise me if he told them the club he wants to go to (Collingwood) hence the meeting before he went back to tell them. It might just be more of a done deal than we all think! _________________ Go Pies! |
