Tonight was his best for the club. Did well all over the ground and kept the effort up for 4 quarters.

Has bloody good skills too. His ability to extract it from a contest is extraordinary and very underrated.

When other blokes were jogging around lost, his motor still got him to contests, most of which we were outnumbered at, due to bludging passengers.

Have to give credit where credit is due. He has worked himself into our best 22 without a doubt. Hard to believe I am saying this, but like Pendles when Mayne has the ball in hand I actually feel very calm. He is becoming a very reliable defender. Congratulations to him, keep working hard son, I feel better about your contract these days.

Exactly! As always Dyso you see all and understand the game unlike many peanuts on this board. When everyone else was looking for a surfboard he just kept working hard...I like the boy, let's keep him.

I think we all need to eat a bit of humble sandwich. Lacks a bit of polish but is embedded in our best 22. Well done to the lad.

I thought he got to a lot of contests tonight and gave us some resolve in the last quarter.

Credit to him. He's no star, but his work ethic is delivering results for him and for our team.

Shows a lot of character to come back in the manner he has, given the unpleasantness with his old man and Bucks last year; his response has been the measure of the man
