Maynard a chance also if he's fit to resume.
Sier and McLarty sat out the second half of the VFL today going by the MagpieBat report.
Injury or just bodies being managed? |
Agree on Wells for Varcoe.
Daicos was the In for Wells but I reckon he did enough to keep his spot and I don't think we have a direct replacement for varcoe in the VFL.
I also wouldn't mind seeing P4S suggestion come true considering I suggested the same thing last year. Ruck Cox against Sandilands at centre bounces only, with Grundy playing as an onballer. Cox then heads forward and Grundy does the around the ground ruck work. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

We should be better suited at the MCG, but this is also the type of game Collingwood loses under Buckley |

Wells will come straight back in. Lock that in.
McLarty could get his chance. Would love to see Sier get his chance too. C Brown and Murray the other ones to watch in the VFL today. |
Sier (suspected abductor) and McLarty (foot) both didn't complete the VFL game today due to injuries - so may not be available to be picked next week.
When will we have a good run with (out) injuries? *sigh* _________________ Pies Forever |

I feel that Daicos was brought in as a similar type with Wells being rested and may have been marked as the player to miss when Wells was brought back in.
The injury to Varcoe may mean he now holds his place. Feel he was our worst against the Dogs though and could make way if we have another in. _________________ Well done boys! |

After the bad news about McLarty and Sier, I think there'll only be one change.
Varcoe out, Wells in.
Not sure if Maynard is ready to return yet. Does Appleby need a spell in the VFL? Or has he done enough to stay?
Mihocek was nammed the best in the VFL and had 2 goals. He's been an emergency a number of times, so I guess he's some chance of a call up.
Oxely and Wills were also named in the VFL bests.
Not much mention of C Brown or Murray.
So yeah, I think just the one change, with Maynard and Murray a chance for QBH. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

You'd bring maynard straight in after 3 weeks with an Ankle, without a VFL game first? I'd make him do a week at least in the VFL. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

McLarty is injured.
If Cox is out, which I think he will be either way, who replaces him?
Wells to return.
Maynard for Appleby?
Not to many changes, though. _________________ Magpies forever.

Some are suggesting that a possible injury occurred against the Bulldogs, when it was observed that ice was applied to Cox's knee.
However, Cox returned soon after and appeared to play out the game with no difficulty, so not sure what to think of that. _________________ Free Julian Assange!!
