WE HAVE NOW!!
This is our second true statement game of the season (the first was Adelaide). Crushed the in form team of the comp. We appear capable of top 6 and maybe top 4. Still a long way to go. We really set ourselves for this game, you can tell. Dees were maybe a little off after 6 wins in a row. We will see them again this year, no doubt. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

^^I think we're going to be advantaged by having most of our tough matches in the last 7 rounds (though travelling to Perth in the final round is a worry). We're building form and will hopefully be at our best late in the season - fingers crossed that is with Moore and Elliott in the team and possibly Aish. _________________ Well done boys! |

WCE - haven't played
Rich - lost badly
Melbourne - haven't played
Sydney - haven't played
Geelong - lost badly
North - haven't played.
Coll
Port - haven't played.
We are 7-2 against the 9 teams outside the 8 we have played and only have Gold Coast to play. |
An Arguement that has many holes in it. We beat Adelaide when they had most of their good players in their squad and were a top 4 side! They did demolish the TIgers or not! But we beat them on their own turf. We did loose to the Cats and tigers but as others have said we were playing uphill with the loss of key players during both matches. Anyway we start playing "top 8 sides" from Monday son hopefully we start beating some and hope they don't fall out of the 8 if we beat them! |
We seem to have also got a bit of bad luck playing Hawthorn and GWS when they were at their best (well, GWS have played much better the last two weeks, but were very ordinary the 6 weeks before that). _________________ "We ain't gotta dream no more" |

Melbourne are a 50/50 chance against Port, but should beat the Saints in round 15. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

By my reckoning, if we beat the Scum and Port beats the toffs, then we will be sitting 4th by about 6 pm on Sunday. |

That's right RB, unless we beat Carlton by a point and Port smash the beejesus out of Melbourne and swoop on 4th spot instead of us.
Percentage wise, we're on 118.6% and Port is on 113.8%. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

The better way to think about it is that there will only be three teams ahead of us on wins after this week (and if we beat GC next week, only 2). Whether we are fourth, fifth or sixth after week 14 due to percentage is totally irrelevant other than as a factual matter. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |
