Yep. They're going to be under the hammer all week. If we go into this expecting to belt them we'll be in trouble. We need to be focused from the opening bounce. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Yes, I sure hope not, as these Blue Creeps will come out fired up, after yet another week of media scrutiny and hell. We wont take em lightly, im sure of that, Bucks an Co will have drummed that into our guys, surely. !! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Think they will play defensive all day with numbers behind the ball to minimise the damage.
Will be a low scoring scrap but we should win.
This is the formula they used when they beat us in recent times. |

Cautious Cam, like me, Cam is a Pies Veteran, not up with me, but like me, h knows, you never, ever, ever, ever, get cocky, against this mob, of all teams. ! Just remember, lads, these bluebellies beat us once last season, and ruined our big Anniversary 125 game, never have I felt so down about footy as I did that night, for a long time. They will cop a week of shit, from Caro n Robbo etc, they will come out fired up, look what they did to the Dons after a horrible loss the week prior !! I just hope our boys can absorb their fiery pressures, suck it up, and then give it to em, with both barrels after half time, when our class should come to the fore. We can and should win this pretty comfortably, but we must come forewarned and forearmed, and hit em with our vast weapons. !!!!! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Correct weight, gentlemen.
No more fooling around or 'just getting the 4 points and being happy about it'. Queen's Birthday is the standard now. Attack from the word go and napalm this mob into the dirt. And then napalm the dirt itself just to be sure...
Camporeale whacking Holland to "Another One Bites The Dust" would also be appropriate too, Mr J...

If they do this, we will smash them because it will suit us to keep charging inside 50 to Cox n co. However, if they throw caution to the wind like they did against Richmond in Round 1 when they kicked 15 goals and only lost by 16 pts, then weirdly enough this could be like the Melbourne game where they keep coming all day.
Pies need to bring the hammer early and ignore distractions. They will go the niggle and try to suck Adams and especially Maynard and De Goey in. I expect them to go at Cox as a gang of 2 or 3 before the first bounce, put WHE on his arse and in fact start trouble all over the ground then. If I was coaching them that's what I would tell them to do, get into our heads before the first whistle.
Start De Goey and tell him to get 4 clearances in the first as a benchmark. Tell WHE and Cox to be ready for bs and the whole forward line respond if they try to target Cox. Pendles will get the job on Cripps again, but they will try to shake that. Murphy likes to sit 15 metres off most stoppages, how about we sit Greenwood on him. Greenwood can start however at HFF and keep an eye on bs at the start.
We must be hard nosed, get up for it, and play like top four depends on it because IT #$@ DOES! Don't get sucked in by these barnacle sphincters but put your head over the ball and get in first. Follow the processes and at no point think you can ease off. _________________ Get back on top. |

Just continue play / build like we have over the past 3 weeks matches and we'll be fine. The players will be up and about, refreshed after the bye.
I tend to agree with Cam, it could end up free-flowing like they did against Richmond and when we played Brisbane and Melbourne. Looking forward to what the coaching moves deliver.
If you like seeing Carlton supporters leaving early in the 4th quarter, don't miss this one. That never gets old. _________________ "The Club's not Jock, Ted and Gerry" (& Eddie)

Will be my first live game for the year and can't wait. Hopefully I'm very relaxed with beer in hand going into the last quarter! |

Well I'm feeling good about this one and so I should.
Not being cocky or arrogant just feeling good given the way we have been building.I expect us to win but a healthy margin. We should win but around 40 points.
What I want is us to win by around 100 points.
