For superstitious reasons, I always worry about playing Carlton during the day. We've beaten them in the night on the last six occasions, but lost our last two during the day, with us last beating them during the day in 2015.
Let's hope we're switched on from the beginning and give them a beating they thoroughly deserve.

Let's please just focus on getting the 4 points. I hope that the club isn't basking in the glory of being 8-4 as much as we the fans are.
A lot of work to do. I don't think we have yet proven that we are as good as the elite of the competition - WCE, Richmond, Sydney and Port (yes, Port is a better team than Melbourne and Geelong).
Let's just work our way methodically to 11-4 over the next 3 weeks (Carlton, GC, Essendon) with tthree solid wins - i dont care how much we win by. Later on games against Freo and Brisbane should secure us at least 13 wins for the season.
The real test of where we end up and what we can be in 2018 will be determined in the 6 week run that includes WCE, North, Richmond, Sydney and Port. Go 3-2 in those games and i'll believe we are allowed to consider a crack at the premiership. If we cant compete against those teams, we'll probably miss the top 4 and will probably deserve to.
That is our equation.

Can’t argue with that. As long as we get through the next three weeks with 12 points, it’s all to play for. The unknown is how good Melbourne actually are. People can say they are flat track bullies, but 100 point victories tend to be a mark of a very good side. They have two. I also think that we were competitive vs Geelong and Richmond, and we have improved since. It’s fun, at least, to be leaning forward in expectation for a change, rather than slumped in the seat hoping for a win against the odds.

We're every chance to be top 4 by the end of this round if Port can do the right thing.
I expect us to uphold our side of the bargain.
Collingwood by 15.

I for one would love to see another Collingwood Carlton grand final.

Seems to me they got punished in spades for the salary cap scandal. The world would be an interesting place with them in the eight
but yes it would be good to beat them

| The scum are an abomination and I hope we don't stoop down to their level on Sunday and get sucked into playing their ugly brand of football. These are the games we need to win and win well without getting complacent and arrogant about it. We've got the winning formula so we just need to keep doing what we've been doing up to now and bring our A game. Pies by 48. |
