I missed a lot of the pre-match today and so had to some Google searching to find out why our players were wearing white armbands today.
It was in honour of the White Ribbon organization (violence against women) and in particular, respect for Eurydice Dixon.
A bit political for some maybe, but personally, I was pretty impressed by the support shown. |

I didn't even notice the armbands. Which makes it more of an internal act of respect than a "Look at us making a big deal out of something" PR exercise.
Understated and fair dinkum.
I like it. _________________ I'm not the pheasant plucker I'm the pheasant plucker's son, and I'll be plucking pheasants til the pheasant plucker comes! "Try saying that with a mouthful of peanuts!!" Lou Richards |

I explained it in the game day thread. The club announced it in Twitter pre game. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
