Goldsack - went from a twisted knee to ACL - gone season
Broomhead - went to kick footy , missed and instead wrapped his leg around a goal post. - Gone season
Wells- sprained ankle ran off ground came back on and next minute gone for season with a high ankle sydemosis injury.
Trealoar - no soft tissue injury ever, comes off with cramp , massage to hammies,no ice - next minute 2 torn hammies with one needing surgery - may get back but probably season ending.
Dunne - jarred knee, walking around with ice on knee - next minute ACL rupture and season over.
FFS when will this injury curse end.
Can someone send a priest to perform a exorcism down there is some evil curse going on !!
Must be MM still hasn’t got over Buckley taking over ?? Haha _________________ Go Pies...Premiers 2010 |

While every team may have injuries - Eagles have 4 which supposedly explains their troubles as do the Tigers and Cats, we have more than our fair share.
At the moment our list stands at 14. More than any other club. A few of those are back or about to return, but they'd want to be.
Injuries haven't wrecked our year yet because we've dealt with them well and had a softer draw. Now though, it gets tougher and we aren't in a strong position regarding available personnel. _________________ Well done boys! |

Wells, Treloar, Dunne. When was the last time we lost players for the season in three successive weeks. Certainly not in a season where we were expecting to play finals by June/July. Christ. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

The Dunn injury has significant repercussions for next year.
Our September window is opening and we start 2019 without a walk up start full back. Dunns experience and strength at full back now needs to be fulfilled by someone else, even though he will probably remain on the list.
Wouldn’t ge surprised if some of our initial trading strategy is reviewed on the back of his injury.
There is nothing worse than an ACL to a best 22 player in the second half of a season. |

The Dunn injury also deepens the impact of the Moore injury. This was a development year for him as a KPD and so far he hasn't had any chance to develop. We need him to get on the field and, at the very least, gain experience as a defender coming into next year - assuming of course he stays. _________________ Well done boys! |

I don't think you can count Wells. When they injure themselves because their walking stick came out from under them, we call it "old age", not "injury". |

Not that I want to revisit that awful moment – still feel bad for him; I was standing right at the fence when it happened! – but he definitely missed the ball. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

That's right. The goal wasn't credited to him. |

May not have wrecked our year yet, but cost us 2 games by virtue of having severely restricted bench in 2nd half vs GWS & cats |
