Just reading through the afl mid year award article and they are saying this:

Mark of the year Mason Cox, round six v Richmond, MCG. Courageous, pack-splitting grab by the 'American Pie', who stood tall despite the desperate spoiling attempts of quality Tiger defenders.

I'm a Mason Cox fan but I'd have thought that Howe has taken several marks this year that would have capped anything Mason has grabbed. Howe took a screamer on that day too.

Am I off?

I must say I'm struggling to recall his mark. On that basis it can't have been too memorable. Confused

I couldn't find a photo of it either (afl media)
Perhaps AFL have mixed it with Howe - it wouldn't be the first time the site has been in error

Daniher's 5th or 6th best mark should and will win.

^ I'll have to check whether he's taken 5 or 6 marks for the whole year.
If not, maybe footage of him molesting an opponent's hair should and will win.

My memory of Mason Cox taking a memorable mark against Richmond has drawn a blank.

I can only remember Howe taking a good grab on the day as the footage below shows.
