The man looked relaxed and more “transparent” —by that I meannot talking about “shape” and things normal supporter couldn’t accosiate with
They asked how he handled media spotlight and he said “For last few years as a younger man he absorbed it and seemed like it was a holding back of his
coaching
Then when asked about support around him this year he seemed very happy
saying they had the right mix _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

The key take-out from that interview was that Elliot, Moore etc. are going to have to fight their way back into senior selection through the VFL. In other words, they are not automatic senior selections when fit. (IMO that's how it should be).
Also worth observing that there was very little new information that came out of this panel interview that lasted about 15 minutes. Contrast this feeble effort by BT, Carey etc. with Gerrard Whateley whose weekly SEN interview extracts more fresh info out of Buckley in a few minutes than Talking Footy could if they had all day.

I did like bucks' praise of how well our forward line is going. Putting it into context of our last premiership year our leading goal kicker was Didak on 41 then pumping up WHE by mentioning he is on 29 half way through the year. _________________ Go Pies! |

Also he laid success at the feet of “team coaching “ and an information highway to the player leaders
Side-by-side ain’t just a phrase it’s a method to success _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |
