Carlton players traveled for a mini-camp at a remote aboriginal settlement during their bye-week.

"There lack of footy skills was perhaps understandable, but the look of hopeless despair on the players faces was heartbreaking," said 12yo Joey Garnduwa-Cox, a local resident.

The description of the players sounds like the faces of their supporters

- - ain't it grand now we just need to up our % by 10% on Sunday at their expense & then sit back & enjoy as supporters & former players tear their abomination of a club to pieces.

Its a 3:20pm start, so hopefully at 5pm (roughly 3/4 time), you can be chortling.

Mate, I hope we can start laughing by 3.50.... but the old wounds act up still, at this stage.

Laughing

However, like Mugwump I'm not going to celebrate till the siren sounds & Collingwood is ahead of Carlton when the match has ended.

Last time while we won, we didn't have an answer to Casboult's marks and multiple goals. We were fortunate that Marchbank went off injured early in that match. Carrrlton have also run a few top teams really close for part if not a lot of the game: Sydney comes to mind. Last week was an aberration.

Carlton with backs to the wall and this bonding camp will treat this as a mini final. Having said that, I fully expect us to win but we can't lower our guard. On this occasion JDG will be playing.

Go Pies

My 19 year old said to me last nite Carlton have been crap
My whole life

True dat.

A whole generation of AFL fans who consider Carlton as cellar-dwellers, much like I grew up with the Dogs, Saints and Demons.
