Carlton still worry me, Mugwump.
Logically, they shouldn't get close to us but after being on the receiving end of media criticism, it wouldn't surprise me to see them take it up to us.
We have to be ready to go and hopefully not be flat from the bye, which can happen to some sides.

So long as we dont believe the hype, we will comfortably handle Carlton.
So long as they are 100% focused on getting the 4 points (and not thinking this is about percentage), they will bring the right mindset and will succeed.
We are now a wonderfully balanced team of 185-190cm players who are versatile, quick, strong overhead and have endurance.
DeGoey, Howe, Scharenberg, Stevo, Pendles, WHE, Phillips, Langdon, Maynard, Crisp and Treloar.
Even our midgets have these qualities - Sidey, Thomas, Adams!
All anchored by the midfield beast in the ruck and a couple of bookends that perform their role perfectly.
Buckley has created a new "modern game". Accurate by foot with quick, sure hands and the capacity to run all game (and the team orientation to defend as a team)! The confidence has allowed the team to "take the game on" and take chances knowing that their team will back them up if they fail.

Greatly exaggerated over the years; he actually stole the hot dog, pivoted, then swallowed it whole, THEN jumped back over the fence to tap ball back into play.
Actually watch the 5 minutes of play before hand, and the bullshit umpire decision on our half forward flank gifting a free to the scum, which set up that farce in their forward pocket. Cheating maggot dogs.
