Young Thomas is quickly becoming a favourite of mine but I was at ground when Daicos went ballsitic. It was worth every cent of the airfare. The bears coach had no way of combating him. I was at Jupiters later that night and Mick McGuane and Gavin Crosisca and I had a beer (after I put 5 dollars on number 35 which came up). Mick said he it was something he will never see again. Reckoned if they had of targetted Dakes he might have kicked 20. Gav said at half time the coach said just kick it up that way and see what happens.
That said the goal deserves goal of the week but who knows. If Lynch wants out to us I dare say Josh Thomas may be part of the opening bid from the Suns. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

Can anyone recall the game Josh kicked those crucial winning goals on that ground❓
If I recall we had an injury and one of the 22 pulled out then two other injuries during game left no bench players❓ _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

^Given Lynch has free agency status, you're assuming that GC match and then we have to offer up a trade or have him go through the draft? _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

think the suns will be happy with the number 3 or 4 pick they will get for offloading him for us in free agency. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Shows a lot about him, the way he responded after a below par game.

This was possibly his best game for the year, plenty of the ball and 4 goals. Has been a real bonus for us with Elliott, Fasolo and Wells not available. I'd say he's now ahead of Fas even at full fitness and form. _________________ Well done boys! |

If Lynch is a free agent the GCS don’t get to match offers from other clubs if Lynch decides to accept such an offer and the club he selects don’t offer GCS anything in exchange. That only applies if he is a restricted free agent. Which category is he in? |

^^Restricted.
And the possibility that the Suns would take the FA compensation instead of a trade seems fanciful to me. Yes, they might get an earlier draft pick, but surely they'd be more concerned about forcing us to give up something? It's not like early draft picks have helped them much so far. _________________ Well done boys! |

Round 22 2014 v GWS.
Kicked two late goals in the game which resulted in an 8 point win and was BOG. We were also decimated with injury that day.
