Should the match be abandoned, Victoria would progress to Sunday's semi-final against Western Australia in Melbourne due to their superior net run rate, which is just 0.02 ahead of the Blues.

... and so it transpired.

"Victoria will play Western Australia in Sunday's second JLT One-Day Cup semi-final after relentless rain washed out today's qualifying final against NSW in Sydney." - cricket.com.au

Happy the Bushies got through, albeit by a cigarette paper, and feeling for Blues' fans.
