WE coulda won this one, fell in, then lost to Norf next week, footy is very unpredictable, swings and roundabouts. Perhaps, at the end of the day, this was the loss we had to have, a big reality check. Just come out steaming next week, and atone for it.!

WHE ineffective today, quite understandably and maybe shouldn't have played. I think, you put Treloar back in, Dunn and Will HE both fit and playing and Cox going for 4 quarters and the result would have been very different. So yes we all agree, our fate is in the medical room. With one caveat, we need a tactic to break hard tags on Sidebottom which will be a regular oppo move now.

Gutted, but not surprised, Cox out really hurt us, and I think mass injuries finally caught up with us today, bigtime. Perhaps this is the loss we had to have. Eagles did win 10 in a row, got their big 3 back today, and did beat the tigers by 5 goals, they are a pretty decent team. Just hope we can hit back very very hard next week, come out steaming.!

ALSO, why the hell did Bucks have to shave off his lucky charm Beard ?????? Grow it back, pronto !!

This

Beard too!

At least they played it out no quitters

We won’t miss the 8, we have North, Brisbane and Freo to take us to 14 wins

But we are just making up the numbers, hope for a lucky win week 1 against a side who has beaten us already this year and then get pumped interstate the 2nd week is the best we can hope for now

Disappointing that Buckley breaks the 23 year dominance we had over the Eagles at the G

Sier was injured?

Yes. Reportedly in two areas: lower leg & thigh. Hope not the adductor being re-injured.

Obviously not. Hope the club knows what they're doing and playing doesn't make it worse.

I'll bring the clippers and superglue and hold him down while you shave his balls and glue the hair to his face

So he gets all the credit when we beat bottom teams but not his fault when we lose to every top 8 side?

I hear what you're saying but we just can't look at it like that anymore. No game is a walk over these days (maybe Carlton Very Happy ). But all other teams now are up and about, even the Saints & Lions are getting it together. Freo in Perth is no easy assignment either. None of these are guaranteed, and Tigers, Swans & Port will be down right bloody hard work of the highest order. All games are a danger, we saw today what can happen. I thought we would handle the Eagles on the MCG but we were not prepared.
