Do whatever is required to get this young tyro on board. He's got class written all over him and just needs some ballet to loosen him up a bit. Get it done like we did with JDG. _________________ Get back on top. |

Agreed. But all reports are that he’s gone
Keep this squad, some injury luck, and the addition of Lynch (and/or May), and we’re damn good things for 2019. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Agree with you Cam (as usual). He was excellent today. If we can get him and maybe jag May, we'll have a really strong key position stocks given how Cox and Mihocek have come on _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

A poster over on bigfooty who comes across as a bit of a club plant stated the other day we are close to re-signing Moore just working out the finer details.
We simply can't afford to be losing Moore when we need to add quality to our key position depth. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

We made him an offer at the start of the season and he and his management are yet to respond.
That suggests he wants out. It's a shame as is a very good player, and will only get better, unless injuries intervene.
If he wants out, then we should let him go, as long as we are rewarded with a couple of first round draft picks. That's what he's worth.
I don't want to keep a player who doesn't want to be with us. I hope the rumours about him wanting to head to Sydney are wrong and that he decides to sign on and help us win our next couple of flags. |

Like the 'we are losing Cloke' threads of 2012, I will instead hang my hat on this rumour. Thanks Swoop. _________________ Get back on top. |

^As I noted in the Training report file this week, why would he be in attendance at the VFL intra club on a cold Thursday night if he was out the door?
Surely you'd stay away from the club as much as possible if you had already decided to vacate, so far out from the end of the season? _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

Not necessarily. He may simply be a very professionally minded young man, who will give his all to the team as long as he is with us. That doesn't mean he doesn't have ambitions to continue his career in another city, for reasons which may have nothing to do with a dislike of Collingwood.
But it could also indicate that all the talk of him wanting to leave is pure shite and that his manager simply advised him to hold off contract negotiations until he was up and playing some good footy again, as this would increase his value. I for one, would love him to stay. |

It’s easy to forget while he spends months on the sidelines how impactful he can be, and he is still developing. Let’s hope he signs on for the ride. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

I’ve never really had any doubt that he’ll stay and I’ve heard nothing to suggest he won’t. Sydney want him. So what? I’d keep him before pursuing Lynch too. After two months or so out of the game he was very good today. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

Had a so-so game today.
Just 14 disposals (10 uncontested), poor D/E (64.3) and applied just 2 tackles.
That said, I'm happy he got through, uninjured. _________________ Donny.

Not from the top of the Ponsford. He was inspirational, taking the game on, bursting forward whilst teammates were stagnant and helping to somewhat quell Kennedy after being shifted onto him after quarter time. In a hell of a lot of marking contests, helping to nullify the Eagle dominance in the air and put arms and body in there, with the odd punch for good measure.
But each to their own. _________________ Get back on top. |

I agree Cam, he was so gutsy.
Be surprised if he went to Sydney, seems like a home boy still, and they gave a pretty established set up, can’t see the family moving. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

it could also be a sign that he wants the year to give himself a chance to set a higher market value.
I heard that this may be a social issue. Some of his teammates may have been a little insensitive to his biological makeup..... _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |
