Yes, nothing like being there, even in crappy weather. Besides, I see going to the football in crappy weather as a positive: when I'm there I'm enjoying the football and not concerned about the weather, whereas if I were home I'd be thinking about all the things the weather is preventing me from doing...

A Buddha day in Thailand but i have been squirrelling away big bottles of beer. Probaly crack the first 3-4 time then watch the next 2 games. all bars shut for 2 days friday, saturday

Yep. I go to every Melbourne based game these days. I would have preferred a night game as theres things to do that a 1.45 game interfers with.

It's sold out now. So I thought I'll just watch it on TV. But guess what... You guess right. Not on TV.
90,000+ people, sell out at the G. Match of the year. And we can't even sit back with the kids to watch it.

I wish but I'm grounded this weekend its the mother in-laws 80th Birthday Sunday and the wife doesn't trust me to go to Melbourne Saturday and return in time for her party Sunday
And she's probably right if we win I would have to have a night of celebrations culminating in missing the plane and not caring |
