Yep. P4S and I don't agree on much, but he has been right on this long before it was obvious. It was a big call and amply vindicated. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Great game tonight.
Here's an original thought: How about Langers for future captain?

i'm sure even QLD magpies will give Langdon votes today. Afterall, he was only behind Grundy and Franklin in ranking points.
Since he has used stats to try to tell us that we shouldn't believe our eyes, surely he will give him votes this week. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

call me a ole softy but i loved Maynard's game. I have been a fan since game one and many on here were not sold. But he has really been solid all year _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

i converted re Maynard about 18 months ago. I now think he's a beauty. But you are distrcting us.
The point is to try to understand why certain pies fans just refuse to give Langdon ANY credit. Nearly everyone has Langdon in the votes, quite a number had him as our best player. And yet piedys blames him for the loss and qldmagpies, who is a stats junkie, couldnt find a vote for the guy who was second in ranking points for us, even though he is a player whose best contribution are the intangibles that don't get ranking points. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

His work in the air has really improved remarkably. But, his slow loping across the ground with ball in hand and slow ball drop still creates turnovers which is frustrating. But, overall he has been excellent and is holding up our back line amazingly. _________________ RED "BABY" CAVANAUGH: Didn't hear what the bet was.
