Seems we have a couple of top players not reaching their potential so do we
persist with retaining them in their current state of continued sporadic situ

REid was always done after this year. In fact, he was done 4 years ago when his body started to fail.

Reid has a contract for next year. Hope it is performance based with base + x amount per game.
If so, then hopefully we can just cut him and agree on a payout figure.
Not sure if he is worth keeping on the list anymore.
Sad, but will be remembered as a 2010 premiership hero. |

How more a force would we have been fielding close to same 22 and we have
been less a force when the less chronic players fell at latter stages
Those two or three chronic injured being fit may have changed the landscape
over last few rounds

Just shows how lucky we were to win it in 2010. If Reid, Daisy, Didak, Daws and Ball got their injuries a couple of years earlier it wouldn't have happened. Let alone Swanny *tear*

Was hoping Elliot would come back this half of the season, but think all 3 (and maybe Moore/Scharenberg) should be traded/delisted and get 3-5 Mihoceks out of the VFL that can give you 20 games each. Wasting spots on list with guys who can’t give you 20 between them. |

Agree with all. For Elliot and Reid it feels a little like 2010 and the players left out of the finals, Frazer, Tarks, left behind while the young guns fire....
I’ll shed a tear when the Reid announcement comes especially, he has come back more times than Arnie, he has tried so hard...
