In : Howe
Out : Oxley.

Go round again. Just win, and a lot becomes possible. Lose, and I suppose we may not really be good enough with the cards in our deck.

A clean out of the chronically injured will be necessary at the end of the year, contracts permitting.

Can't stand this feral mob, I'd love nothing more than to drive a nail into their coffin for 2018. Not the way I usually look at games but it's great to finally come up against a side with some major injury concerns!

In - Howe, McLarty (It's time!)
Out - Oxley, Madgen (a bit stiff)

McLarty apparently in great form in the 2’s - havnt seen much of it so can anyone confirm? The above is Not a bad call- however I would like to see Madgen get some continuity - when they are not In fear of being dropped every week and they relax into the game a bit more is generally when we see what they are made of.

Last night he was better than his first game hopefully the trend continues.

No Charlie Dixon is a big bonus. Our undersized backline will handle things much better. No Ryder will see Grundy have a picnic. We should win this game well back on the G and pretty much end their campaign.

I'm different to you. I love a good Port. Port is my favourite drink. I love Port Melbourne. I love Port Adelaide. Two great football clubs. Not as great as Collingwood though. Robbie Gray stands in our way. Not sure whether Greenwood has the pace to go with him, so unsure what Buckley's thinking will be to nullify him. If Ryder is out, Grundy's hitouts will make the Guinness book of records. Inclusions same as above. Howe and McLarty will strengthen our backline.

Their forward line (even minus Dixon) could destroy us on talent alone, which means we need to keep the ball out of defence. Simples.

Don't underestimate how good Westhoff is in games where he has to carry big load. He could ruck and ruck rove similar to Grundy and sneak forward to kick goals

Ports performances without Ryder are poor.
His out would be the icing on the cake and it’s a repeat injury, so I would guess he he would miss.
We might put some work into Gray as a midfielder but as a forward, he will just have a positional opponent like anyone else, maybe Maynard.
Their defence is pretty solid, mainly hybrid types who can play on all sizes, so they don’t get caught out in hand overs very often.
We can beat them for pace in our forward line, that’s our best chance to get over them.
If Dixon and Ryder both miss, I reckon we can sneak over the line in a close one.

Same, have always followed Port Adelaide, find it hard not to like them unless playing us!

After listening to Bucks post match, I doubt we'll be seeing Howe this week.

No change. (McLarty for Ox?)

Pies to finish Ports season, brutally.

45 points.

This game just swung back in our favour with no Ryder and Dixon. If Howe can recover from his bad corkie then we have someone to play on a tall like Westhoff.

Our backline are midgets and I shudder to think what would happen if Dixon and Ryder were not injured. Not looking forward to possibly meeting Hogan and McDonald on the G with Gawn resting forward with a backline without any talls.

We held up remarkably last night. But we are looking like a car with integral parts missing and we have our foot down with our teeth clenched wondering how many miles we can keep driving for before we grind to a halt.

To have any chance we need to finish 4th and hope Richmond's 3 years of no injuries luck meet with the devil. We are also hoping GWS and Melbourne lose a game. So we have to win next week. Another must.

They got rid of Fitzroy for this mob?

Fk off back to SANFL where you belong you feral pigs!

I hope we give them a hiding, much like that first encounter at the G on the 29/3/1997.

I was one of those 51,883 people out there that day, a great stroll in the park that was!

Liked Port before they joined the AFL. Then they tried to argue they should wear black and white and stripes! This from a club who changed its original colours to black and white. I have no warmth towards them anymore.
