At the season start and new coaching team plus some new players we had finals as a goal with Daniel “don’t loose when in the side” Wells and one of the best crumming forwards in Jamie Elliot—add our potential CHB Darcy and the outlook promising
Two rounds to go and those three had zilch to get us to a finals challenge and
that’s just three with others who did (Treloar-Shaz-Dunn) going down
All in all a great combined effort from all 😃 _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

At some point losing those guns is going to hurt you. Good coaches though don't make excuses which Malthouse pointed out in Saturday's paper. |

Hurt it can but the “one door shuts while another opens” and thru that door
Brody Mihocek and Brayden Sier

Injuries are a part of football, but we've had more than our fair share.
Bux has hardly referred to injuries other than answering questions at pressers. We're 5th and have a chance for top 4. Bux deserves a huge amount of credit. |

It's not the amount of players some times but positions those players play
So now we have Dunn Scharenberg Howe Goldie Reid Moore with at least 4 of these certain starting defenders
It's our backline that's been hit the hardest. Not only our best defenders but our most experienced defenders and most skilled defenders
We've been forced to play rookies and make shift defenders in order to just get by
We will sooner or later run into a side with a couple first class tall forwards and we will be beaten.
As hard as the current crop of defenders try they couldn't deal with Kennedy and Darling or Brown and Waite or Cameron Paton Lobb
That's what will end our season at some point
We could have lost a couple mids and survived but losing 6 defenders and our best defenders is just a bridge to fair
I doubt we can even deal with jumping Jack form the Tigers who isn't tall
We could have lived some of these to be short term injuries but there all been long term (OK Howe is only a couple weeks this far but no guarantee to be back this week either yet) |

Yep virtually a whole backline desimated and with a whole garage full of mids
we will most likely stumble against a Jumping 10 goal Jack or that WC Kennedy guys plus a few more
Grundy and Cox will have to have serious good finals series and keep our mids
over fed with the ball _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

McLarty becomes a surprise packet and dishes it out at the highest level.....with Howe returning and the man with a golden sack making an unlikely return .....could it all turn around for us ? _________________ No Pressure, No Diamonds
