The knifing goes with the territory. At least Turnbull leaves without us turning him into a verb describing a special kind of failure. Look for the losing shot at goal in the dying seconds of the big final to be described by Bruce thus: “Well, he had victory in his grasp - but gee he’s completely Duttoned that kick”.

Yes I'm about to go and have a Dutton upstairs. Poat 1 115 km ride things are movin and it aint my legs Wink (sorry too much info)

Well if Kinky Friedman can have a Nixon I can have a Dutton

She's not leaving Parliament though, yet, just resigned as a minister. Pity, Tannin wouldn't agree but she was one of the good ones and would have made a very good PM. Far better than Gillard.

For female PM's, apparently.

For PM's in general it's one of a number of low rungs to step over.

I reckon Gillard was better than Abbott, Turnbull and Rudd! Also don't think Morrison will be any better!

She was magnficent. The knuckle draggers (Read Man Misogynist Monk et al just ran aneffective negative campain)

We could have been world leaders in energy with cooperation through business, unions and other key stakeholders. How much did our energy costs go down under the clown Tony Rolling Eyes The Mad Misogynist Monk is a wrecker. He was hopeless as a leader. Spineless bully. However he runs a great negative campaign.

Magnificent? Shocked Rolling Eyes Give me a spell, please. She was hopeless. And I voted for her as I had high hopes.

Abbott made a very good opposition leader but as history proves, a shit PM. The two are about level pegging as far as PM's go.

Here’s the cabinet reshuffle:

https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2018/aug/26/dutton-stays-but-no-job-for-abbott-in-morrisons-new-generation-ministry

Dutton stays in Home Affairs, but with his blackshirt “super-ministry” (including the immigration portfolio) thankfully splintered and handed off to other ministers. Bishop, as mentioned above, has stepped down and will probably be out of the parliament at the next election. Probably the most decent Liberal, Craig Laundy, has done the same – he seems pretty disillusioned with the party right now. Nothing for Abbott or his fellow troglodytes, and otherwise Cormann, Paine and other late-stage plotters all get reinstated while others move around.

You are entitled to wrong opinions, that's your right and far be it from me to argue with you.

Yes yes, and if your Auntie had whiskas she'd be your uncle. We'll never know.

I do admire her jogging and fitness.

Newspoll Results:

TPP = Coalition 44-56 Labor
Primary Vote = Coalition 33-41 Labor
Preferred PM = Morrison 33-39 Shorten

It's the first time since February 2015 that Shorten has been the preferred PM.

The last time the Coalition received 33% of the primary vote was in November 2009.
