Winners are grinners Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
Losers can go and please themselves.

I was hoping that we could somehow scrape a win (even by a point) just to shut the smarmy Tiggers supporters up. They were actually planning on where they were going to celebrate their GF victory.

Especially galling was one Richmond poster I saw on TV that had Grand Finals at the top and 2017 2018 2019 2020 underneath that. Under each year they had a check box with 2017 ticked ... and 2018 box ticked Rolling Eyes

Well I suppose you can't win it if you're not in it can you Tiggers??? Laughing Laughing Laughing

An added ongoing benefit now is I don't have to put up with our numerous family and friends who "support" Bitchmond. I will be enjoying the quiet a lot Cool AND I'll enjoy it even better if we win next week.

CARNA MIGHTY PIES !!! Cool Laughing

West Coast play 2 rucks alongside Kennedy and Darling.

If they win then Aish might be the unlucky and logical omission for an extra tall defender.

I'm hoping for a West Coast win but someone like Vardy is just the type to pop up unexpectedly in a grand final and cause us havoc.

Interesting you say that.

Quote:
The remainder of Collingwood's squad who didn't play on Friday night took part in a strenuous training session on Saturday morning.

Injury-prone duo Darcy Moore and Ben Reid trained fully, alternating between forward and defence during match simulation in a seven-a-side affair.

Moore stayed on the park longer than his teammates, taking part in some searching leads and chases with the help of some assistant coaches.

It’s our 5th Grand Final since the turn of the century, same as the Hawks. Our conversion rate however not as good. I am confident that will change if we bring the same attitude and pressure for 4 more quarters.

I reckon we definitely need another tall down back if we play the eagles, but who do you drop? I'd be reluctant to drop anyone, just can't think who it would be; maybe Greenwood?

We just gotta win this one!
As others have said, we lose too many Grannies and here’s a chance to join Ess & Carl on top of the heap.

Our on ballers are the key - the smashings dished out by Sidebottom, Pendlebury, Adams, Treloar, Sier & Grundy should sustain us.

I’m happy, nervous, proud and excited. But I’m confident too.

Go Pies.
