I was probably more confident back then. Our prelim wins were similarly impressive but toasters are in better form (as pathetic as Melbourne were) than the saints were imo.

2010, two good teams, but also two clubs used to disappointment, I was wracked by fear. Oddly enough, and as cruel as it'll sound, when the news came through that Leon got dropped for the replay, I knew we'd win the second game - and I never otherwise have that kind of confidence about my teams winning the big one.

2018... I'm not confident because I'm astonished that we've made it this far... which is not the same as being disappointed that we've made it this far, just that considering our recent years, our patchwork defence, and our novelty forward line, it'd be such a ridiculous outcome, especially against a side I don't think we match up particularly well.

I was really worried in 2010, but really confident for the replay. I figured St Kilda had fired their best shot.

The only worry this year is Kennedy & Darling. We'll just have to stop it getting down there.

Can�t remember. I was concerned then and I�m concerned now. Shock result last night & sheer joy. WC looked ominous today notwithstanding the home ground advantage, the lack of resistance from the Dees. WC aboriginal players:?Jetta, Ryan & Rioli look very good.

Less as 2010 team been building for about 3 Seasons where this Season has come bit out of No Where after missing Finals for 6 Seasons. 2010 we played lot better team was lot more Complete Team then this year. Plus Comp was lot more Stronger in 2010 then it is now.

I also really worry about the Forward Line as our Backline is a Worry especially with the Injuries been down back

In our loss, we conceded 86 points - over there.

Since then we have conceded 59 & 58 points.

We play a team defence, and at the G, we do it well.

The Saints had a great side back then, riewolt, del santo, hayes, goddard, koschitke, milne, and other stars, tough team, I rate them over the eagles now, I reckon. im wary of GFs, but any team that can smash the Tigers, like we did, on the G, is a very, very good team !!
