Not surprised he wants opportunity. A bit surprised about destination.

“A deal for Fasolo is likely to be for three years for an approximate total of one million dollars, meaning the forward would be earning approximately the average annual AFL salary.

As a free agent, Collingwood would be compensated for Fasolo’s departure. The Magpies would likely receive a third round pick if he decide to leave the club.”

How about he keeps making an effort in the VFL to gain senior selection, before he writes his own obituary?

I could picture him there. Full-Forward

It suits him

he'll probably kick 60 as well

but the blues will still finish bottom 4

After watching his last 3 games in the vfl it's becoming increasingly difficult to see where he fits. I was once a fan but I think his time is up. He should explore other opportunities

I’d be sad to see him go, but I’d probably take this scenario

I read somewhere that he has a contract offer, but is waiting. Blues or Suns would be a good fit for him if he chooses to leave.

The last few years he's been our only reliable forward just about, this year he can't get a game. I'd be sorry to see him leave, but wouldn't hold anything against him if he did

Offer up a trade, build the draft points.

He does not possess the DNA required of the 2018+ Magpie nest. It's simply not in him.
I've watched all of the VFL games that come available via stream.
For all of his his offensive flair, he always lacked defensive accountability when required. To that end he has not developed his game.

Modern day forwards need to be accountable both ways. That's why our current forward line operate so well, they add defensive pressure to their offensive game, they play as a unit.

If the Prince of Perth becomes the Prince of Princess Park, so let it be.

M M, can you please confirm ( or not ) that if we’re to bring a ( restricted ? ) free agent onto our list for 2019 and in turn, Faz left under free agency, then we would no longer be entitled to any compensation pick for Faz ??
I don’t think we do benefit in this scenario but I’m not sure if it changes depending on restricted F A or full F A

Thanks in advance
Cheers

I think he is entitled to explore his options, it is his career after all...
