$333,333 per year isn't exactly high balling it, I doubt if that's more than he's on currently

Yep. Don't take unders. Must be pick 118 or better.

Still doesn't beat receiving pick 105 for Marley Williams Razz

I see Howe is wearing a Fasolo beanie:

Has Fasolo already given away all his black and white clothing?

He did bugger all for us over the last three seasons, granted he had injury, but he also did very little in the VFL. Sickens me when a Pie wants to head to the Bluescum, but I cant see him or I year left, Daisy, improving them much, Daisy is past it, and Fas struggles, he wont be missed, his best is past him now.

From memory these are the last few players we have delivered to the scum:

Fasolo (assumed)
Daisy
Cameron Cloke
Mick McGuane
Barry Mitchell

Nice trading scum.

Wasn’t one way street as Carlton had a tall prospect forward but agree playing in thirds could not break in
In 1955 he came to Collingwood and was an instant success at full back

Was full back in our 1958 premiership and his name. Harry Sullivan

Think the clean cut precise James Clement then you have the late Harry

Our leading goal kicker in 2016, second last season, third in 2015.

He went alright as a small forward playing for a team who struggled with forward transition and one which was a bottom eight side during this period.

At 26 still in his prime.

For some players 26 is in the prime but most careers are well and truly over by that age in the AFL.

He has had a year where he has achieved nothing at any level. It's hard to say what the reason is for that but there must be a reason the club had for not playing him especially with such an injury depleted list this year. Mentally he may have lost the edge so a change of club may rekindle his interest. We will get bugger all for him if he leaves though.

“A deal for Fasolo is likely to be for three years for an approximate total of one million dollars, meaning the forward would be earning approximately the average annual AFL salary.

As a free agent, Collingwood would be compensated for Fasolo’s departure. The Magpies would likely receive a third round pick if he decide to leave the club.”

And here is the secret herbs and spices article: https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/the-afl-s-secret-formula-for-free-agency-compensation-20180221-p4z16j.html

M M, can you please confirm ( or not ) that if we’re to bring a ( restricted ? ) free agent onto our list for 2019 and in turn, Faz left under free agency, then we would no longer be entitled to any compensation pick for Faz ??
I don’t think we do benefit in this scenario but I’m not sure if it changes depending on restricted F A or full F A

Thanks in advance
Cheers

Correct - applies to both UFAs and RFAs. FA comp is based on the “value” of FAs out less the “value” of FAs in, ie the net loss of FAs. The actual appendix to the CBA containing the rule is quoted in the OP of my blog.
