Can anyone who attended confirm whether Howe trained?

Sidey trained in #27 today. Kirby's number. Could be something or nothing!

No one really trained there today with any real intensity; It was quite loose.

I was surprised that dpuite the large crowd there was relatively little noise, little sound and relativiely little atmosphere. It was as though people were more interested in chips, sauce, coke-a-cola and hotdogs (at 1015 am) Rolling Eyes

I was pissed off as people got in front of me in the queue! Wink

The training such as it was, was semi-training and no real intensity. I'm still suprized at how low key it was. I expect Thursday there will be noise a plenty.

Still I was able to hip and shoulder a few toddlers away so I could get my face painted. I elbowed a few other little ones out so I could ride on the shetland pony.

Howe did not train.

Absent: Howe. [Also Fasolo, Elliott, Scharenberg, Broomhead, ...]

Present: most, including JdG. [Also Wills,... (And Dunn.)]

First out on the track (shortly after 10 am): Crocker & Reid.

Taped up: Aish (surrounding left knee), Appleby (very long strip on right shin).

Injured in training: Murphy (bleeding nose). He was treated on the field, but left the track at about 11 am, returning around 11.08 am.

I thought Maynard had the bleeding nose?

The above statements are definitely true of Murphy. Whether Maynard also bled from somewhere, I do not know. If the two of them clashed heads, that would make such a double bleed a realistic possibility.

Well, it's obvious to Murphy, with wads of cotton wool stuffed up his nostrils --- but he may not want to state it.
