Greetings and have a happy and safe new year.

Looking forward to 2019.

If 2017 was Tiger time and 2018 was West Coast snorters time then 2019 is the year of the Pie.

Go Pies!

It will be 3 am in Melbourne before itis midnight here. Lock the wonder poodlein a room because the fireworks are not exactly controlled.

Hopefully next year will have many enjoyable days nights and morning cheering on the Magpies from afar.

Best wishes to all on Nicks and their families. Even those who are not our supporters. We will have great fun humiliating you some time soon on the footy firld.

Have just seen in the New Year with a bottle of red, watching the Prelim final win over Richmond. Oh, what joy and the perfect way to begin 2019! (Have still not been able to watch the GF replay yet though. Not able to cope with that yet or probably never will be).

Our incredible game is so fickle and there's no guarantees that we'll be able to reproduce that magic again this year. Regardless, it will be another emotional ride, which is always the case when you're a stalwart Pies supporter.

May the footy gods be kind to us in 2019, may we all be full of joy in nine month's time and may all Nicksters have a healthy and prosperous 2019. Go Pies!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy New Year to everybody.

Got the feeling that this year we will win a shitload of games. Lock in top 4 and even the GF, its the part after that which worries me.

Well, Johnno, you are welcome to discuss the part that worries you in the "Luck, superstition, curses" thread. Wink

I saw in the new year sound asleep after 4 nights of heat induced sleep deprivation, Woke up like it's a new year and ready to rock.

The scars from last years GF have healed (I still won't watch it again though) and I'm looking forward to the new year and new season with a level of excitement.

I don't "expect" to win the flag this year, but for the first time in a few years I "expect" that we will be in contention amongst a pack of other improved teams. Richmond were considered almost unbackable favourites last year , but walked away from the prelim like the gang bang girl heading for the shower after a 2 hour shoot.

We seem to have cracked the code on player buy in, which can overcome lack of personnel or ability up to a certain point, so with our additions for 2019 and some development talent added, along with improvement from others, I'm looking forward to an exciting year.
