Going to book my Anzac Day flights now. Will stay for the game v Power the following weekend at Marvel Stadium. Never been to a game there.

I am happy for the Friday night and Saturday night games, I get to go to more games in 2019.
Last time we played Sydney outside of Sydney was the Goodes racist pointing game in 2013.

And yet again our Round 15 home game is at the home ground of our opposition (Marvel/North Melbourne). They also made sure it was a night game since North are the self proclaimed 'night specialist'.

That's how much the AwFuL have f&cked yet another fixture for the umpeenth consecutive season...
Why can't all 18 teams play each other once in the first 17 rounds, then do the double ups? Christ; it can't be that hard to table, can it!?

Why does everyone seem to assume it's entirely bad luck? It needs to be properly (i.e. professionally, whatever that entails) investigated before we can safely conclude that is true. |

Thursday night footy sucks donkeys balls.It is not shown on what was Australia plus in the asia pacific and instead we get the 5th repeat of the news. Also i don't see why the Goodes Friday game is a good idea. It coincides with the Sydney racing carnival and the Sydney show so accomodation is bloody near impossible to get in Sydney let alone anywhere near the toy ground. And forget cheap flights. That and the brisbane ground in peak season and you wonder who the AFL are working for because it aint us fans.

i dont know what point diff is and why the bloody hell it matters. All i know is that Melbourne get last years grand finalists twice as well as the first placed team.
That is much harder than us

it only a hard draw if the teams you play twice are better than you. i think you guys are referring to 2011 where we had the draw from hell.
The draw is something for teams of the fringe to worry about. Not the elite teams. Assuming we are a top team, we'll split the 8 or so games we have with the other elite teams and we'll beat everyone else (maybe dropping one or 3). That is a 16-18 win season, and we'll be well placed going into the finals.
