Didn't watch the match, mate ?
Apart from his 40 odd, with the bat, he captained brilliantly.
Many remarks about his captaincy, during play, especially from Warne.
A player doesn't have to have played a top innings or taken a 5fa to get the nod. I remember Roger Harper once being named Player of the Match in an ODI - for his fielding.
