Gun. My prediction: If he can stay free from injury he will cement a spot in the 22. _________________ kill for collingwood! |

I wish he'd been delisted.Nowhere near the best 30, never has been never will be.He has had more chances than anyone and has never produced a game of note that I can recall. |

I like him but in my mind his career is in deficit - feel the same about Moore. Looks good when he is on great skills when he is there, but these guys need to be on the field and available.
Don't really understand the comment about Murray not playing another game if we recruited him we are expecting to use him - another player in deficit.
Hope and trust they will all come good. _________________ We shall set our course by the stars and not ships that pass in the night |

I reckon Quaynor will be playing senior footy in the backline quite early in the season. With Maynard being the other 'small' defender, failing injuries, I can't see a spot there for Broomy. Then again, with Elliott, WHE, JDG, Stephenson and Varcoe up forward, I can't see a spot for Broomy there either. With Pendles, Beams, Sier, Sidey and Treloar in the midfield I can't see a spot for him there either. Come to think of it I can't see a spot for him anywhere....
Still, we need depth, in case of injuries and I hope he can find a role. |

At the moment he is a good depth player and given our injury rate it won’t be long next season until he is required. Additionally Wells, Varcoe, Mayne and Greenwood are very much at backend of their careers so as they retire or are moved on positions will open up on the list. _________________ People forget that our last premiership was only 2010 and rebuilds take some time. 2018 we play finals again. |

ASADA holds Murray's career in its laboratory re second urine sample. He is merely a placeholder on our list until the likely guilty verdict arrives (immediate 4 year ban). With new rookie rules providing clubs flexibility between December and March, expect his delisting and subsequent addition of another player. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Generally when you get dumped to the rookie list it’s a 1 year lifeline. If we doesn’t break into the team and stay there consistently could well be out the door next year, however depending on what happens with Wells and Greenwood could be kept for depth. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Not great. |
True, but perhaps he would have if not for his broken leg at the start of the year.
It's not over yet, but he does have a big battle in front of him.
Will watch, and support him, with interest. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

Trained brilliantly last preseason.
Wells, Crocker, Dunn and perhaps Greenwood might only be on the list for one more year. I could see Broomy replacing Crocker on the senior list.
Elliott is the other unknown quantity. If he does not play in 2019, its unlikely he would be retained on the senior list. _________________ Firm in the belief that number 17 flag is only months away... |

Pretty obvious to me, both have Christian names starting with 'T' and ending in 'M'. |

Do they both like Tim Tams?
Speaking of food, I know Tom is infamous for his junk-food diet, and Tim has had (and maybe still has) OCD-like eating habits... |

I like Broomy, but he is currently very proppy in his running and seems some time off from being an influence in either VFL or AFL football. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |

His main strength was his pace running through the midfield and when he was injured he was playing the small forward role. Recovery is slow after breaking a leg and then you have to wonder if the pace has returned. Nathan Brown at Richmond had his career wrecked after breaking his leg. Hope the same doesn't happen to Broomhead. |

All good points again Hal
Worth a shot - can't hurt him and good luck to the lad.
He deserves a break, pardon the pun ! |
