I was hoping Reid was going to be one of the perpetually injured players we were going to delist. He's also a terrible set shot for goal. Give him a set shot from 20-40 meters out and he's a 50/50 chance In the prelim he almost missed one from point blank and then missed an easy shot in the last quarter that would've tied the scores. Not good.

Reid of a decade ago and now he has got reasonable fit (still suspect to a calf or hammy)
He can read the game obviously but from see to act has slowed—he had his moments abiet spaced apart and fleeting

Good servant and if we are not seen by the Lynch,s and Camerons as destination central he will fill a spot

Trav Varcoe has also apparently been given another year. I am really pleased for him personally, but it's interesting that we don't seem to be shedding older players to find the funds for Grundy or Jamie.

Maybe these will be announced at the Copeland, IF they are true.

We can only retire so many. It’s great if he’s offered another year.

That is great news. I reckon his efforts and fierce tackling will be brilliant to watch. As usual he will give his all, especially in his last year of afl footy.

The post final trade period trading is interesting that lots of players nominated lots of clubs

Signing a good wantaway player news see sparse traffic to Holden Centre

Why are we not a club these good players want

To be honest, I think a lot of players would love to join us. Unfortunately we're nearly maxed on cap space and wouldn't be able meet salary demands.

Not having a decent pick in this year's draft also means we don't have the currency to get involved in any sort of trade for a decent player.

Keep the money tight this off season and hopefully shed some cash to try and lure Jeremy Cameron next year whilst paying for Grundy, DeGoey and Moore.
