Its gone to a committee.

Well the committee - can GET STUFFED!

Ah come on; it was there to be hit...

<Moderator's Note: discussion of pill-testing split off and moved here: http://magpies.net/nick/bb/viewtopic.php?t=85187 – and discussion of Ivan Milat sent straight to hell. Thanks, David for BBMods.>

It's still under active consideration.

(Yes Minister..... "Well, 'under consideration' means we've lost the file; 'under active consideration' means we're trying to find it")

I don't get why this has dragged out so long unless there is a hassle with his B sample
They can test it within days is my understanding
Either the kid has made a huge error that will cost him 4 years or ASADA have issues and the kid should be allowed to be playingI don't know his mental health state but hope he is doing ok

this beginning to get into the restraint of trade, denial of natural justice areas. ASADA can either do its job or drop the charges. if this was an NFL or EPL player there would be some serious lawsuits being threatened and some executives facing a life time of poverty

I would sack the dills and replace it with horse racing industry bodies who actually do things with promptness when a livelihood is at stake.

Just wondering (and this isn't meant to sound as glib as it does, but).... If he is suspended, will he still be subject to testing or can he just get on it for a year two and get it out of his system? I assume that he he should be ok to, considering there aren't any match days for him at the moment

^Yes, because his suspension would most likely be closely followed by his delisting and the end of his AFL career

Is he getting the arse or what?

When does this pre-season window shut for singing players? Ala, Carlton/Gibbons. Or will we have to wait until the mid season draft?

Speaking of 11, I note the current number 11 was not number 11 at his twice-previous club, although the current number 23 was number 23 at his (once-)previous club...

Is Mo Hope wearing 23? I'll have to start a thread in AFLW.

Tomorrow, in P35's thread, we can talk about the number 17, which is related to the number 11.
