High full toss from Woakes.
Free hit plus warning.
Santner misses the free hit.
Nasser says they shouldn't be surprised by the slower balls when almost every ball is a slower ball. Nasser reckons Williamson wanted 250.
Henry hits his first ball for 4 over cow corner. Good.
NZ 7/238 (49).

First ball: Dot. Santner moved off-side but couldn't connect.
Second ball: Single. Santner goes the other way. He dives home. The fielder missed the stumps anyway.
Third ball: Swing and miss by Henry. But Erasmus signals wide.
Third ball rebowled: Bowled. Top of off stump.
NZ 8/240 (49.3).

The other commentators are joking about Baz M. being happy they have 240. There are no pictures to confirm this claim.
Fourth ball: Dot.
Fifth ball: Single.
Sixth ball: Ducks the short ball. Why? Nasser can't understand.

Odds at change of innings: England 76%, NZ 24%.
.......................................................................
The bad LBW decision against Ross Taylor was costly.
Healy & Taylor settle on the word "content" for NZ.
M. Taylor: "They probably would have liked 270, 280 when they started."
..............
M. Taylor's advice on DRS use: "If you feel out, go."
But you're damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Nicholls reviewed properly and went on to make a score, after not reviewing in the earlier game. |

Boult bowls. Appeal for LBW first ball! Not out! They go for the review!
No edge... Umpire's call.
Ian Smith: "I cannot believe it."
Doull: "Two average decisions from a very good umpire."
Certainly, Roy did not deserve that luck at all.
England 0/1 (1). |

Henry from the other end.
I. Smith thinks he is the bowler they'll think they can go after.
Two slips.
And Henry beats Roy all ends up. It's past the inside edge and over the stumps.
And then Henry beats the outside edge!
Athers: "This is a cracker of a legcutter from Henry."
But a straight drive for 4.
England 0/5 (2).

What a spud of an umpiring decision - it looked out, so why didn't he give it and let England review?
I don't hear Roy screaming "That was f%^&ing embarrassing" after that one. |

Boult bowls a wide.
Bairstow gets an inside edge to get off the mark.
England's openers are riding their luck.
Just need a wicket.
Next ball nutmegs Roy.
But Roy backs away and swats a 4 next ball. |

Henry again, to bowl the 4th over.
Second ball, Roy spars and misses.
The broadcast predictor says NZ 13%, England 87%. |
