I really like him. He just has that touch of class and overhead strength that separates him from the other wannabe's trying t5o break into the 22.

I'm not sure there is a spot in the 22 for him (we have just so many options), but i'd be happy if he cracked a spot in the team due to injury or form.

Guys like Aish, Greenwood, Quaynor, Murphy, Daicos and the two Brown boys are unlikely to be in the best 22, but boy they are going to be pretty bloody handy back-ups.

My Round 1 side right now looks like this:

Maynard Moore Langdon
Crisp Howe Mayne
Sidey Beams Phillips
Stevo Mihocek Varcoe
Elliot Cox DeGoey

Grundy Pendles Treloar

Sier, Thomas, WHE, [Aish]

Injured: Scharenberg, Adams, Dunn

reserves: Greenwood, Quaynor, Goldsack, Brown, Brown, Daicos, Murphy

Jury still out: Wells, Roughhead, Kelly, Bos

No shot: Crocker, Wills, Reid

no comment on the other rookies at his time.

You've got WHE on the field and on the bench!

Who's your addition?

That's just one example of how elusive he is.

E, there's one player you have on the bench that I saw for the first time yesterday and all I can say is "wow". You sometimes see a glimpse or two in a young player that they have what it takes, or are just a bit special. That was my thought when I first saw a skinny young Gavin Brown play. I haven't seen that with Callum Brown (although he may make it as a player) but I saw it last night with Tyler. It will be tough for him to crack a game this season but I can't wait to see how he progresses. It's fantastic seeing Moore, Daicos, the Browns on the field together. Hopefully a Kelly can be added to that group soon.

Aish is a gun. Tough (remember the hawks game), strong overhead, a good kick and a big tank. Will be a 200 game player.

agree. all class. will be a gem. Not helpful that Buckley compared him to Nat fyfe, but high praise indeed. Wouldn't shock me to see him in the team by the end of the year. and i also agree that of all of the kids we have right now showing promise, he seems the pick of the bunch.

Much maligned, unfairly imo. Deceptively tough and classy footballer.

Although I think JDG will be a midfielder this year, a firing front line of ( Elliot - Mason - JDG ) would have to be the best forward 3 in football. Most dangerous and most dynamic.

If Richmond move Reiwolt to the Pocket they could argue their case.
Rioli - Lynch - Reiwolt, i dont think they'll play that way though.

I think in a full year Elliot Cox and Degoey could provide 120 goals.

He and Thomas keep on surprising me - I sometimes think they are behind others and then put in such fabulous performances. Good on em

We have generation,s down thru our history
Coventry
Rose
Twomey

And now Moore ,Brown and Daicis

If you look At Norwood the Aish family is their great generation—James has pedigree and will be a very good Pie

I agree with these thoughts. but i would add that when you add Stevo lurking as the 4th option it will be positively frightening. That kid is seriously a complete freak. The goals he kicks are outrageous.

No disrespect to Blair, but if Blair gets the ball where Stevo gets the ball, we score 0.2 and Stevo kicks 4 goals.

I'm with Dermie on this one (although without the woodie). The kid is amazing!

And we havent even mentioned WHE and Mihocek in the conversation.......

We only have six forwards as the 6-6-6 is the new set up

Two tall marking options.

Full forward Cox
CH forward Checkers

Others Elliot —-WHE—Thomas——Stevo

Yes. /. No ??????
