^ Apparently it was the lowest scoring opening round since 1965.

It's claimed numbers of scoring shots were fine.
It's just that no one has any skill, so mountains of points are kicked.

Teams nowadays have to run the ball to the goal-line to score a goal.
It's like tiki taka's ugly sister.
