Post subject: In the back rule | |
|
Can someone explain why we have this rule? Is it because of risk of injury or is it because it prevents a player from getting up and playing on? I’ve seen so many where players fall forward taking the tackler with them then awarded a free. It’s a rule I think needs reviewing because too many are milking it and getting rewarded when seemingly the impact is quite insignificant. It’s a contact sport. Players get whacked in the back taking marks, when shoved to the ground, and in many other ways. [/code] |

If it wasn’t a rule, there would be a broken back and a paraplegic within two minutes of play. |

I'm more concerned about the removal of the hands in the back rule in marking contests.
Looks like more ruck lottery frees coming our way against us in 2019. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |
