Keep an eye on the Pies' kick to handball ratio...

1 week in and supporters have all of a sudden gone into their shell. Get first use of the ball out of the middle tonight and we dictate the terms. If this was round 10 I'd be banging the table and looking to put them to the sword.

Adams absence was a major factor in our 1st round wobble, but this machine will get going again. If we can't get the edge on Nankervis, Prestia and Lambert up against Grundy, Beams and Treloar, we're cooked for the remainder of the year.

The Pig coming in negates the Tigers primary cog in Dusty. Then taking a 200 game AA in Rance out will stuff their system.
If they do play Dusty up forward in his named position, Maynard will be given first opportunity and they'll be starved for midfield grunt in order to get it to Lynch and Riewoldt.

Aish I'd expect to then go to Prestia. I believe Aish still has a lot to offer in this role.

Bucks, please put Stephenson on the wing.

Given our disposal efficency last week I've toned it down. Pies by 5 goals.

I would also like to see Stephenson moved around a bit, maybe even off a half back flank, he has the speed

I think we'll bounce back this week.

Tigers were pretty ordinary last week, just like us... but they've had an injury or two already, and we surely couldn't play much worse.

Pies by 19 points.

In life there is generally a limit to how good things can get but no limit to how bad they can get.

If the pig goes to dusty then you would believe that dusty would spend a large amount of time deep forward and isolate the pig one on one
That would be trouble for us.

We have to be more direct with our decision making, players shouldn't call for it if they are in a bad position. We need more overlap and run if we want to beat them. Maynard to hurt Rioli early. Greenwood to slap dusty, Varcoe to slap Mcintosh.

I agree that if the Pig is tagging anyone, should be Crotchin rather than Martin. Crotchin is more affected by a tag,

Hopefully the real Collingwood will stand up tonight as I'm already over that bland generic no name version on display last week.

Late change: decided not to go to the G. Exhausted after a long week at work, feeling a bit queasy. Had 4 hours sleep after driving Mrs WPT to the airport this morning. Watching it on TV. Go pies
