WOW,bloody grouse photos T P , marvellous. Im a photography nut myself, back in the day I used to develop and print my own film, photos, under a red light in mums laundry, back in kodak days of 35mm. You obviously have a fantastic camera with a zoom lens, some of those pics are equal to any in the newspapers, really ace, well done, I reckon the club would love to see some of these photos, they are brilliant. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Cheers mate, thanks
Camera is a 7DMK2, lens was a sigma 18-200mm, I got pulled up on the 250mm last time! And I’m not game to take the 70-200 L lens in case it gets damaged, plus it weighs a tonne!
Thanks again, cheers _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

See Brodie looking around in that shot - "That's not a bugle. Where are the Andrews Sisters? Now that's a bugle", he's saying. |

A wonderful set of photos. Thanks TP.
I really felt for Pendles when the boos stopped him from speaking. He looked bewildered, like "Huh???" |

A shame the bugler didn't get photographed. Being a trumpet player myself, I was mightily impressed by the bugler's rendition of the Last Post. It was easily the best performance I've ever heard at the MCG. Well done lad...whoever you are! |

The boys were wearing a more traditional jumper (names aside), like this one (1912-23):

Yes, I love the way the club brings in jumpers for our team to wear, that were worn so many yrs ago, its great to remember the history of the club, in this way. I especially love the jumper style, that has that thin black line between the white and black stripes, its so neat, that was the style worn back in the 1960s 1970s by our blokes, its the neatest Magpies guernsey ever, in my humble opinion. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Pnc, do you think we should just stick with a more traditional jumper? I've started leaning towards thinking our current jumpers aren't traditional enough. |

Yes, mate, the one with that thin black line, between the stripes would be my ideal jumper, so very neat, and I love us to go back to having that white hoop on the bottom of our black socks, that we had when I was a kid, it looked great, guess im a traditionalist hey. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.
