The Crows might put some thoughts our way with what will surely be the No. 1 pick _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

Grundy is a once in every two generations ruckman, so they’d better have about 5 first round picks to offer. |

Talking Footy put the salary cap squeeze emphasis on a Grundy trade siting
JDG and Elliot plus others as the stumbling lock for $$$$$$
Hence Crow first round pick being paid considerably less than a million per
It’s all talk and speculation but the fact that Grundy acknowledges thinking of SA and the friendships it holds is vexing _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Its simple - we throw a truck load of money at him (personally I think he's easily worth 1.2 mil per yr over 7 yrs), if he doesn't want to stay we ask for heaven and high earth.
I agree with Pies4shaw here, his known worth far outweighs any amount of unknown wealth.
Late PS: We can afford to lose Elliot if needs be, I love him but we have lots of other forwards and he just doesn't play enough games (at least right now). _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

Talking Footy (and for that matter all media outlets) believe JDG the player to just not loose saying he is the one player at Pieland that can grab a game by the scruff of the kneck and single handed win it —more important than Grundy _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

This is a thread about Son of Odin. Tonight, he topped the Collingwood all-time game high for hitouts, yet again. He topped 60 for the first time (64, in fact) and now holds all top 5 tallies of hitouts in a game for us. He occupies 17 of our top 20 hitout tallies. He should be a mile in front in the Brownlow Medal. Collingwood had very few good players tonight and he stood tall, yet again, controlling the game and just about carrying the team over the finish line. |

Grundy ( ruck + midfielder ) is as valuable to Collingwood as Gilchrist (wicketkeeper + batsman) was to the Australian Cricket team. In both cases like having an extra player. |

And needs to keep working on his wicketkeeping because his batting mostly takes care of itself. |

But even I don't think Son of Odin has it in him to make 149 from 104 balls in a World Cup Final. Mind you, Gilchrist never had 64 hitouts in one game, either. |
