Can anyone please tell me whether Scott Pendlebury has ever been reported and/or suspended in his AFL career in almost 300 games. Thanks.

Good question.

I dont recall him going to the tribunal or being reported. But I'm not 100% sure.

I am absolutely certain that he has never been suspended. He has always been in contention for the Brownlow since I remember.

Pendlebury never needs to do anything that could result in suspension: his evasiveness is so ubiquitious and unique that he rarely has any need to apply physical contact. And when he tackles the opposition, his skills are elite.

Yeah while we're at it... why has Ablett been trying to get suspended lately?

Pendles has never been suspended in his career and I'm very confident he hasn't been reported either.

I did a quick google search, but couldn't find any anything suggesting Pendles has been reported in the past.

I think as players get older they can get grumpier too. Strange he didn't pull himself back after the first one or two incidents.

i think it his his way of tackling the tag. Some players just take it. Ablett has decided to return fire. Maybe his plan was to do it until he got suspended and in the meantime, make his taggers and scraggers know that he wont take their shit and will return fire.

Kind of like what dusty used to do to Greenwood.

I thought it was because he kept telling his coach he needed a rest and the coach wouldn’t listen to him so he took matters into his own hands. I’ve heard he wants a second week off so he’s planning to have three wines with Daisy Thomas.
