Jack Magden I did not see as more than a VFL player tho with a full year and pre season he could step out and prove me wrong

Well it looks like Goldsack isn't in our thinking at present if reports he hasn't traveled to Sydney are correct.
You wonder why we retained him if we aren't going to give him first crack in defence ahead of Madgen at AFL level.

I'm guessing The Sack will get a run if his form is undeniable & a spot opens up OR if we're at the business end of the season and injuries force our hand. In that scenario he'd probably only have to be fit, as opposed dominating. Like a top shelf insurance policy where we keep our rating 1!
Meanwhile, this period could be seen as an opportunity to get games into kids! |

I feel the opposite, I ask why risk Jordy? what is the worst case with him out? ...we lose the game? ... I think we can handle a loss.
What is the worst case if we play him..... he breaks down properly and we lose him for an extended period....that could spell disaster for our WHOLE season.
i take Plan A. get him right. even if it costs us a game....which it might not.

De Goey sore after the full training session. Now he is a week to week proposition till after the bye. Fortunately most of our injured stars are only short term. Hoping Jamie is right to go after bye.

Same as last year... We kicked him into form and just lost the game because of bud... We must be on from the bounce unlike the last 2 weeks or we're going to struggle
