Strong win by North and good start to Rhyce Shaw's senior coaching career.

They're probably not, really. They are a dreadful second half team, which was why I was always confident we were going to beat them last week, even when they got in front.

I see the AF points are awarded as:

Kick 3 Points
Handball 2 Points
Mark 3 Points
Tackle 4 Points
Free Kick For 1 Point
Free Kick Against -3 Points
Hitout 1 Point
Goal 6 Points
Behind 1 Point

https://fantasy.afl.com.au/classic/help/official-rules

A tackle worth 4 points makes me go mildly Shocked .
But the real question is why the AFL deliberately makes it this simplistic, when they have much more sophisticated systems.

It feels like the AFL is deliberately trying to dumb down the fans. Confused

I agree, in part, K, re the AF points.

I submit them purely because many punters like them.

Ruckmen get a cheap 47 points for '47 hitouts', no matter where the ball goes. How many times do we see a ruckman get first hand on the ball and either misdirect it or it gets sharked ?

And what constitutes a tackle ? Getting a free from it or just grabbing another player who can still dispose of the ball ? Big difference.
