Beams and Sidebottom event.

On Wednesday night I went to the "That's good for footy" show at the Village Green Hotel in Wheelers Hill.

Beams and Sidey were the guests, and they were fantastic.

The main thing I took from this event was.... Dayne Beams belongs with us. His heart is here. He has really matured and he wants to be here. He wants to play for the club, for Bucks and for us.

I was really impressed with what he had to say and how he answered questions. I'm really looking forward to seeing him play again.

There were a few funny moments and the two lads seemed to have a good night. Everyone had the chance to have their photo taken with the players and some prizes were won. (I won a footy lol)

It was a great event, and for only ten bucks. Cool

At 45:19 (and 47:13, etc.), the camera pans to the crowd. Would you like to point out which one was you? (Whereabouts were you sitting, for starters?)

I looked at that before, and sadly my table it out of the shot. We were towards the back left.

So interesting to see how Dayne has matured and seems far more comfortable in his own skin.
The house fire was obviously a really traumatic event for Sidey - I didn't realize it was that bad and that he lost so much of his material possessions. (: Hope he recovers quickly in all respects.

Was at last nights even with Sidey and Elliott at Airport West.

Another great night. But it was probably the worst parma I've ever had in my life.

Elliott discussed his injury and said he felt right to go, but he'll probably be kept wrapped up until we've had our bye. Said he was a slight chance to return Vs Dees, but probably will wait until the bye is complete.

I guess the question there is, does he go straight back into the AFL, and if so, who is dropped?
