Even with best case scenario Beams may get 2-4 weeks and Langdon we don't know they keep saying 4 weeks 4 weeks every week then hit us with he needs more scans and maybe see a surgeon
I've laminated elsewhere about my opinion on our medical treatment of players so won't go over it again but it honestly defies belief
As far as selection goes I think we will go for our biggest strongest bodies in the finals
That would leave Brown and Aish in trouble IMO
Let's hope we have 25+ players all firing when the business end comes around and selection is hard |
By the way, if true, how ironic is it that the two guys you, me and P4S have debated for literally millions of posts, would both be counted out by injury in our premiership year! _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Here is the likely weekend team:
Maynard Goldsack Scharenberg
Howe Roughhead Quaynor
Phillips Adams Sidey
Brown Mihocek Elliot
WHE Cox DeGoey
Grundy Pendles Crisp
Treloar, Sier, Mayne, Thomas
Others: Varcoe, Crocker, Wills, Brown, Daicos, Appleby
Injured to return: Stephenson, Moore, Aish, Greenwood
OUT: Dunn, Langdon, Beams, Wells, Reid.
Cupboard is pretty bare, but its a decent team. only 4 guys out from the OP. Scharenberg for Langdon might be a straight swap and Stevo and Moore will hopefully be back for the premiership tilt. i guess its either Aish or Greenwood in for Beams as the other change. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Maynard, Roughhead, Langdon
Crisp, Moore, Howe
Phillips, Adams, Sidey
Thomas, Mihocek, Stevo
DeGoey, Cox, Elliot
Grundy, Pendles, Treloar
WHE, Beams, Brown, Mayne
******************************
Next in Line: Aish, Greenwood, Varcoe, Reid, Sier, Scharenberg, Appleby.
On the outer: Goldsack, Daicos, Kelly, Murphy, Wills, T. Brown, Quaynor, Crocker, Bos.
Not considered: Dunn, Wells. |
Wow, three forced changes - Cox, Langdon and Beams out. Greenwood, Wills and Noble were the replacements last night. Likely Berg and Aish to come in at some point in the next two weeks (and i guess questions about DeGoey!).
otherwise, pretty good stuff i reckon.
And to the knockers, is it still too early for this thread?????? _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Bumping your own presumptuous June thread up the top of the forums still doesn't blunt the crazy Rupert Wills thread. _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |
