You’d think Treloar would have gone into today’s game with something to prove.
I don’t care what his stats are, he was disappointing today. |

I particularly enjoy his looping 2m handballs off either hand to no one and his 30m fast-dropping snaps that offer no fear for defenders.
I also enjoy his lack of run or bouncing of the ball, overrated facets from a player who was recruited for these very things. _________________ Est. 2002 |

In Treloar's defence, he hasn't been the same player since his hamstrings. He's lost pace, he's lost kicking penetration. |

Treloar is far from my favourite player but we lost that game because our forwards were mostly useless (seriously, Varcoe, Cox, Cek and Mayne barely touched the ball and JDG and Crocker were only fair), not because of Treloar. He was part of a midfield that won its battle comfortably, today. |

Who is "Cek"? Oh... I worked it out just after I hit submit. Writing 'cek would have made it easier.
On the thread topic, they shouldn't miss Ads or Tay or Bloggs, even if they star, because we paid a fortune for them. It's not like we poached the guys through free agency. It's a bit silly if CEOs or footy department guys start dumping on ex-players. |

One of the biggest trade blunders in our history. Should be moved on at years end. |

A bit like a day at the tribunal.
Low impact, No defence and severe lack of penetration.
Needs a dose of Viagra to stiffen up. |

If you could swap Adam Treloar for: C Curnow and Jarrod Berry who would say NO? _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Why compare with those two players, though? Charlie is being paid more than Ads and has a contract as long as or longer than any of our players (5 years).

I'd swap him for a Jarryd Blair right about now |

No, I'd take Curnow ahead of Blair. Not by much, though. |

I would have thought we have bigger problems than Treloar.
The only reason a number of our players aren’t being bagged for their ball use is because they aren’t getting near it in the first place. |

The guy is getting as much of the ball as Swanny did at his peak. We plainly have bigger problems. |
