If bucks wants a young inexperienced player to regain form he needs to make coz ruck out the game. I mean Grundy does **** all for centre clearances so it can't get much worse.

And grundy is way more mobile and better strength in a marking contest so him on the big defenders would be a better option...

Worth a try IMO over in Perth where we are expected to be no chance...

I've often wondered about this move. Grundy's a pretty good mark and set shot. Worth a try IMO.

Be another gamble whilst I’m in that mood—to give Cox a demotion and trial Lynch—Grundy with Lynch getting some ball up and rest / mark what comes his way

FFS, Grundy is the all Australian ruckman, having his best season ever, and is the main reason we are 3rd on the ladder, yet you want him moved out of the ruck?? Surely, you are kidding?

I wouldn't make Cox the main ruck but I'd certainly consider making him ruck more and rest Grundy up forward. We don't clearances so that's not going to be an issue. Cox's height will worry wet toast though. He really needs to start pulling his weight and asserting himself in games. He's lucky to still be in the side really. If Bucks' has lost patience with him then give Lynch a crack at it. Send Cox back to the vfl to find some form.

And while we're at it, let's put Crisp in the forward pocket, Elliott to centre half back, Moore on a wing and De Goey to full back.

from the start of the season cox has been next to useless. a 5 week lay off and we were no better without him. but what options does a crippled out of form team have? bucks has always stuck fat with the senior first 22 unless there's someone demanding a crack from the magoos. since that option isn't there keep dreaming.

ps why not give Lynch the ruck duties and leave grundy to the pendelbuyry role. couldnt harm the cohesion or team balance.

go the blues, Nsw.

"Crippled out of form team"??? We lost last week by less than a kick and we are 3rd on the ladder. Overall, we aren't doing too badly. This is no time to make drastic changes to our team structure. It's simply time for our players to bet back to basics and play with a bit more dash and endeavour.

we are out of form when compared to what we have been able and are expected to play like. I'm afraid the "pack" have our measure as well only because of the players we have sitting out each week. what other explanations can be assumed besides internal rumblings or just to soft.

Cox's form is only bad compared to his finals series last year. Compared to the season as a whole, it's similar.

If we want to see his form improve, improve the quantity and quality of our forward 50 entries.

I'd actually like to see Grundy stay out of forward 50 more, let Cox do the ruck work in there and Grundy sit back to intercept kicks coming out

I don't know what footy you guys watch but this isn't the 80s.... Where the forwards stay in the 50. Grundy is going to be the first target for defenders clearing the 50 and working over his defender all match. You really underestimate that position in modern footy.

There is a mountain of evidence proving that the mids will start pulling their weight if they stop relying on Grundy....TEAM before Individual. Nic Nat injured .....essendon ruckman in one of the Anzac day games injuried in the first 10 mins and ended up winning the match

Degoey is a gun in the forward line but bucks put him into the midfield for alot of the match last week to try help....imagine our mids confidence with Grundy taking a few early marks....

This wasn't one bad game last week .. It's been 5+weeks of bad form.... We need a catalyst for change
