I have noticed a bit this Season we have Depth in some Postions like Medium Forwards but we don't have any Real KPF's at all as Hine has only picked Paine,Gault.McLarty in the National Draft and other 2 Moore and Kelly where Father Sons since 2010.

Also we have a Real Lack of Crumbers. Yes we had Abbott and Kirby and we did not have much luck with them. With Abbott going AWOL after 1 Season and then Kirby's Heart Issue.

Then look at our Midfield we have some Good Inside/Outside Mids but outside of Adams and Maybe Sier we don't have many other Inside/Clarence Players.

Hine has been good of finding players but there too similar to each other.

Thoughts?

We couldn't have envisioned Kirby's heart and Moore's hamstrings. That's just bad luck. But yeah -- Thomas, Brown, Daicos are all similar.

And I'm going to say it -- Jarryd Blair would have busted his guts today and not left us to die wondering.

The first question is who (out of the recruiter, coach, head of football, ...) decides what type of player we want and the list balance. Different clubs may do it differently.

More indigenous players for a start. Go after some real KPPs. Favour talls over smalls. All sports are going tall right now (e.g. NBA and the NFL) but we keep picking midgets.

Yes....more indigenous players!!! Why have we been so reluctant to embrace the skills indigenous players can bring to the team. It's like we're trapped in some white supremacy era.

Enough is enough.....recruit the next Rioli even is he's a she!

Don't laugh, the AFL wants less tackling in the game to pave the way for the first female player in the near future.

Amongst the currently injured, our list profile includes Reid, Moore, Dunn and Kelly.
If two of them were available we probably wouldn’t be overly concerned.
We could certainly do with a couple front centre high pressure small forwards.
That’s something we seem to be eternally light on for in recent years and at a time when they mean more to kicking a winning score than ever before.
It further compounds the problem when our traditional crumbing forwards Varcoe and Thomas can’t get near it this year.

Indigenous: Maybe - but if they don't end up being a win for us, then that's more midgets we'll have recruited. That's why it's so hard. And it's not like KPF's are easy to pick - many more clubs get it wrong with those selections than get it right...
