Tigers fans should bring along a box of tissues...because Mighty Pies will win by 1 point or 38.

the most obvious decision could be to move Crisp to a permanent midfield role and look to strengthen the defence in his absence with both Scharenberg and Goldsack in contention to come in.

I'd like to see this regardless of whether Sier is in or not.

It was pointed out on Fox Footy last night, just how unstable our team has been over the past month, with at least 15 different player selections compared to Richmond's 3!!! Most of them caused by injury. Crying or Very sad Sheesh! How is it possible to play cohesive football under such trying circumstances?

If we are to do alright tomorrow night, it will be a minor miracle and require manic pressure and huge will and determination from all players.

Fox Footy has an interesting take on our outs and ins—If Appleby loses his spot will Shaz replace him
Jack Magden has a good chance to play—they believe Goldy will be overlooked

Goldy out of contract is a player Suns are looking for experience and a quality person

I really want Goldy to come in, but apparently Madgen is more likely.

I shudder at the thought. Still, I guess we have to have faith that our selectors know what they are doing. However, last week's decision to go in small against the tall Giant forwards, does not really fill me with much confidence that they do know what they are doing. Shocked Confused

Thomas kicked 38 last year, not 28. Mind you they both played all 26 games i.e. no (significant) injuries. The other bloke who should be mentioned in the same breath is Stevo who also played every game last year for 38 goals and is currently marooned on 21 from 12 games.

You are correct, sorry about the typo. Didn't check my work Embarassed Razz

Against West Coast we had a defensive mix of 8 featuring Moore, Aish, Greenwood, Noble, Roughead, Maynard, Quaynor with Crisp in reserve.

Heading into this week the 5 certainties will be Howe, Roughead, Maynard, Crisp and Quaynor.

So that leaves us with....

Out:Aish, Greenwood, Noble, Appleby?
In: Scharenberg?

We look to play with 7 defenders so unless we plan on playing Varcoe in defence you feel we are one defender short at least if only Scharenberg comes in and Appleby is omitted.

Madgen in for Appleby just seems like out of the frying pan, into the fire. No offence to Jack – I hope he makes it – but he looked badly out of touch against Sydney, and we need some experience back there. Even if Goldsack doesn’t have as much pace and agility as he used to, he still brings so much to the team.

Goldy has lost pace naturally but also naturally gained experience

He or Shaz for Flynn —that’s one change but the goss is Elliot an in

All will be self evident in an hour

In: Elliott, Thomas, Scharenberg, Daicos
Out: Aish (injured), Sier (injured), Appleby (omitted), Crocker (omitted)
Emergencies: Goldsack, T Brown, Crocker, Wills

Disappointed no Goldsack, and not sure why Daicos is back in, but a pretty strong line-up nonetheless.
